Republican Planning & Zoning Members acted against the proposed casino:
Planning & Zoning took the action to eliminate the “gray” area concerning casino operations. In Section 4.2.6C Buckland Road Gateway Development Zone Prohibited Uses; Section 4.4.3.2 I-291 Corridor Development Zone Permitted and Prohibited Uses and added language to clarify casinos as a prohibited use in these two zones.
